How to Choose a Women's Pyjama Set: Fit, Fabric and What's Included

Choose a women’s pyjama set by checking three things in order: what garments are included, how its finished measurements compare with a set you already own, and whether you want shorts, long trousers or both. A letter size alone cannot tell you how a particular style will fit.

Start with the pieces you will actually wear

A two-piece set is straightforward when you already know your preferred silhouette. For example, the Heart Print Square-Neck Pyjama Set includes a short-sleeve top and long trousers. Its square neckline and red heart print make it easy to identify in the product photos.

If you switch between shorts and trousers, compare the contents before buying another set. The Floral Three-Piece Cami Pyjama Set includes a camisole, matching shorts and matching long trousers. That gives you two bottom options with one top. Slippers, eye masks and other photo props are styling accessories, not part of the set.

Compare garment measurements, not just S, M, L or XL

Our product size guides use finished garment measurements in centimetres. To make a practical comparison, lay a similar top or pair of pyjama bottoms you own flat, measure across the bust or waist, and double that flat width to compare it with the listed circumference. Check the top and trouser lengths separately. This is more useful than assuming that a letter size matches a standard Australian or US size.

For a concrete example, the L size of style 1268 was measured from the garment: bust 90 cm, waist 62 cm, top length 54 cm and full trouser length 99 cm. Its S, M and XL figures are graded estimates, and the product guide notes a possible 1–2 cm variation. If you are between sizes or prefer more room, compare the numbers with a garment whose fit you already like; do not rely on the letter alone.

Check the fabric information without guessing how it feels

The two styles linked above are made from 95% polyester and 5% elastane. If fibre content matters to you, read the composition on the individual product page before choosing. These sets are a synthetic blend, so they are not a natural-fibre option. Fabric content by itself does not establish how cool, breathable or soft a finished garment will feel on you.

For fit, return to the product’s own size guide rather than applying one style’s measurements to another.
